Matt brings over 25 years of extensive experience in Risk and Intelligence, combining strategic insight with hands-on expertise to address complex Security challenges. Throughout a successful career as a Soldier and Officer in the British Army, he has gained comprehensive experience operating in high-threat environments across the globe, including commanding both the Army's Specialist Counterintelligence and Technical Surveillance Counter Measures Units, along with close collaboration with wider Government departments.

As a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP), Matt upholds the highest standards of professionalism and expertise. Since starting Global Protect Risk & Intelligence, he has leveraged this deep and diverse knowledge to lead a team of Specialists in delivering sophisticated, tailored Specialist Security solutions to Public and Private sector clients across a range of critical industries in the UK and Overseas. Central to Matt’s approach is the philosophy of  ‘Converged security’ - integrating Physical, Electronic and Cyber threats with Fused Threat Intelligence to provide a unified and proactive defence posture.
